Exhibitions

This curated exhibit of modern and contemporary art and collectible design is on view at the architecturally significant, Steel House designed by Donald Wexler in 1962. Regarded as pivotal in the resurgence of Mid-Century Modern architecture and the revitalization of Palm Springs, the Wexler Steel House and its owner since 1993, Creative Director Jim Moore @jimmooregq , have left a lasting mark on the city’s cultural landscape.

Featured artists include Peter Alexander, Lita Albuquerque, Stephanie Bachiero, Larry Bell, Gisela Colón, Tony Delap, Alan Ebnother, Joe Goode, James Hayward, Youngjoo Kim, John M. Miller, Helen Pashgian, Phillip K. Smith III, DeWain Valentine, and Norman Zammitt.

Design is represented by important works by Mario Bellini, Marzio Cecchi, Joe Colombo, Xavier Féal, Eileen Gray, Martin Greirson, Max Ingrand, Antoine Philippon & Jacqueline Lecoq, Angelo Mangiarotti, Adrian Pearsall, and Gio Ponti.
